It is believed that by harmonizing oneself with the seasons you can stay healthier and prevent disease. In Chinese medicine, Winter is the season of the element Water and the two organs in the Water element are the Kidneys; which are said to be the source of all energy for the body, and the Urinary Bladder which transforms and excretes fluids so a time where we focus on strengthening the kidneys. Winter is a time where we are encouraged to slow down, rest, restore and look within.
Come and join Rachel for a Winter themed practice incorporating a yin sequence and meditation to help in the process of restoring and rejuvenating concluding with a beautiful yoga nidra to seal the practice so you leave feeling relaxed and renewed!
