The Beginner/General level yoga classes are a progression of the practice learnt at the beginner level. Beginners are still able to attend as students will be guided through the practice with both the easier and more complex variations of postures being taught. These classes will offer a gradual extension to the poses for those wanting to progress their practice a little further with the aim of progressing to the next level of class.
Yoga is more than simply a physical practice. Benefits such as flexibility, muscle tone, core stability, improved digestion, hormonal balance, etc, may initially be the aim of a yoga practice however these are really just side effects. Mental and emotional balance and the unfolding and understanding of one’s life journey are as much a part of the practice of yoga as the physical aspects. Yoga is not a stretching class. It is a moving meditation teaching us to be still and centred in each moment. Intention and focus are important aspects of the practice and will therefore be highlighted throughout class.
8 Week Pass – $120.00 (1 class per week for 8 consecutive weeks)
Trial Class – $20.00 ( Body Yoga does not offer casual drop in classes. The benefits of yoga are only obtained by committing to a consistent, regular practice)
